COMM Center LogoHistory

The SJSU Communication Center, formerly the Communication Lab, changed its name and moved from Clark Hall to Hugh Gillis Hall in 2011.

With the new name came a new focus on providing holistic, socially supportive tutoring for all of the communication arts, including performance, writing, speeches, multi-media presentations, social media, and more. In 2013, the Communication Center launched its online flash non-fiction magazine The Bolt.

Most recently, the Center has begun building an online social media network through Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram. Find us online and “like” our stuff!
